ABOUT FILMMAKER JON STEVENS

Jon is currently a partner and serving as CEO of The Stevens Organization, a boutique production and distribution company licensing the rights to feature films in the US/Canada markets.

April, 2009, Jon and co-writer Frank Jones sold their high concept comedy screenplay BEVERLY HILLS MARINE to producer Michael Mendelsohn CEO of Patriot Pictures.  Film slated to shoot in 2010 starring an A-List comedy star. 

Currently Jon is developing a slate of feature films including: IN MY FATHER'S FOOTSTEPS inspired by true events war drama to be directed by DANIEL CALPARSORO, director of the powerful feature film GUERREROS (WARRIORS) distributed by 20th Century Fox (see GUERREROS 2002 GERMAN TRAILER on YouTube Videos). DANIEL is also Spain's hottest TV director having directed EL CASTIGO, high rated mini-series in Spain; THE UNPREDICTABLE(aka Love Passion, Jealousy) romantic-thriller set in New York City, Seville, and Brazil dance worlds - Jon is attached as director; RENEGADES, big Miami set action film, Jon's homage his action idols Sergio Leone and John Woo. Jon served as VP Acquisitions and Marketing for Hobokenwest Digital Media, as Director of Acquisitions and Marketing for  Tulchin Entertainment in Los Angeles, one of the top ten Hollywood Producers Rep firms headed by veteran entertainment attorny Harris Tulchin (www.medialawyer). 

Wrote, directed and executive produced the critically acclaimed feature film IRISH WHISKEY, winner of the BEST FEATURE FILM award at the Temecula International Film Festival. Jon also was awarded BEST DIRECTOR FOR A FEATURE FILM, by the 2001 New York International Independent Film & Video (in Los Angeles ).

Feature film CHOICES, which Jon wrote and produced, introduced actress Demi Moore to the screen.

Scripts he had written on assignment have been filmed and picked up for distribution by New Line Cinema, Imperial Entertainment, and Nu-Image.
