The shows featured local Puerto Rican and Cuban bands, and included production numbers with fabulous Broadway dancers choreographed by Graciela Daniele who became one of the first major Latina Broadway directors. VAYA! featured now classic artists like Tito Puente, Joe Cuba, Willie Colon and Hector LaVoe (whose bio film El Cantante is currently being distributed on DVD), Ray Barreto, Machito, Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz, and many more.

Recently, Jon returned to his Latin music roots producing and hosting the VAYA! radio show on KCLAFM.COM, featuring contemporary and classic New York style Salsa music. Sample CDs are available.
